Yes, it is very much about the looks, just as much as it is about the winners at the annual Golden Globes. The event has come and gone, and the critics continue to weigh in on some of the swoon-worthy looks. From Jessica Alba and Salma Hayek (the latter who looked as sultry as ever) both glammed up in Gucci to Charlize Theron who looked beyond flawless in Dior, the 2012 Golden Globes didn’t seem to have too many fashion misses.

Then there is the hair and makeup. A lot has been said, and after learning of the behind the-scenes action, we think Madonna rocked it best at this years event. Soft, wavy and nicely framed around her face, Madge had the look down (and was named a winner that night, too!).

The ever-evolving mother of two was prepped by the professional stylists at Wella, who according to Daily Makeover the look was “effortless, soft waves”. Wella Professional stylist Andy LeCompte created the look, finishing with Wella Ocean Beach Spritz Texture Spray for a touchable look. We love it!
