Summer isn’t typically the time when I dive into new products, or stock up on a particular cream and such. I mean, why clog precious pores with product only to have to wash it off sooner than usual? I tend to stick to my serums and oils, which absorb quicker and tend to be on the lighter side, too.
This summer, however, the skincare gurus at Aesop have come to the rescue with its new Petitgrain Hydrating Body Gel. This “gel” comes is a generous and brightly colored tube that is full of skin essentials, offers a very light and sweet citrus scent and easy enough to pack for a weekend jaunt out of town.
The new Petitgrain gel is (aside from sounding exotic) a light, clear and fast-absorbing skin saver that is now a summer must. Post sun, the witch hazel and aloe vera juice are like a cold compress on hot skin. Instant cooling and mositure–with zero greasiness.
While dealing with the summer heat here in the city, I have had my tube nearby and even “chilled” it this weekend by leaving it in the fridge. After being outdoors in blazing heat this week, it was (and still is) the perfect compliment après sun.Back to Blog
