It being March, women worldwide (as we should be!) are in the spotlight. It’s Women’s History Month and International Women’s Day campaigns and celebrations continue across the globe. What better way to celebrate women, than to nurture girls? TATCHA Beauty knows this and their new partnership with Room To Read shows us that Founder Vicky Tsai has a sharp eye for beauty and brains.

It’s important to know that Vicky herself is a mom to you lovely little girl, so the mission of Room To Read is very close to her heart. As we plan our spring and summer vacations, there are thousands of young girls around the world that would be content with just a good book, let alone a new iPad. More than ever,we know that literacy is critical in a child’s development, and more so with young girls whom in many developing nations will be the breadwinner in a family or contribute heavily to it.

So, let’s do our part for all the young girls out there who not only want, but deserve a chance at just getting to the next school year or even competing in a spelling bee. Vicky and her team know the value of an education and their alliance with Room To Read speaks volumes. While a trip to Cambodia wont’ be necessary, a purchase of anything TATCHA will do just fine. Your skin will of course love you for it and TATCHA in turn will carry on towards its goal to fund 50,000 days of school. This may not seem like much, that one extra day could be all it takes for a girl to pass an exam get to high school–a big deal in many developing nations.
