It’s finally arrived! Beauty and skincare powerhouse Estée Lauder has debuted its Mad Men Makeup Collection which pays homage to the hugely popular cable television series that has also spawned fashion throwbacks in a clothing collection collaboration with mass retailer Banana Republic.
The set is a limited edition one with a vintage twist–it’s inspired by the brand’s packaging from the 1960’s–the same era in which the television series is set in–and is the first of an exclusive partnership between Estée Lauder and the multiple-award winning cult series.
A lipstick in “Cherry” and a perfect cream rouge in “Evening Rose” comprise the first collaboration, which sought inspiration from the makeup worn by the ladies of “Mad Men”. It’s incredibly pretty and feminine, and the packaging is also fairly compact; it can easily be carried in an evening clutch. For scale, the lipstick is smaller than the average-size tube on the market and slips easily into any makeup case.
The Estée Lauder Mad Men Makeup Collection is exclusive to Bloomingdale’s nationwide. Look for it beginning March 1!
