four seasons buenos aires

The Four Seasons Hotel Buenos Aires has had a bit of a major makeover, and the property is now more inviting than ever. From the lobby to the new Cielo Spa, the brand known for discreet, inviting luxury has taken its Argentina outpost to a new level. Let’s go inside.

“The space is inspired by the way we all like to entertain at home in Argentina,” says Rebeca Selley-Morales, General Manager of Four Seasons Hotel Buenos Aires. “We love to gather with family and friends around a big fire, and now we can offer this to our visitors who want to experience authentic Argentinean culture”.

The property is in the capital’s La Recoleta district, a cultural and historical area that suits the palace-like atmosphere of the hotel. Word is that some $49 million went into this facelift, and the luxury has been turned up a few considerable notches. Fitness areas are a given in most, if not every luxury hotel. But an outdoor heated Roman-style pool? Four Seasons Buenos Aires has got one, and it is to be experienced.

And of course, there is the spa. What business traveler doesn’t look for a spa to escape to, time permitting? Four Seasons Buenos Aires gives us Cielo Spa, a spacious, light-filled area with all the luxury trimmings. Rosewood marble floors and subtle designs and art on tango culture, which Argentina is wildly known for. Topping it off are the lush gardens surrounding the spa. Stroll around after a treatment, why don’t you?
