Found myself at C.O. Bigelow in lower Manhattan a few weeks ago and some pretty packaging caught my eye. Alighiero Campostrini, the centuries-old Italian house known for its hand-milled luxuries is now stocked in New York City.
Soaps to me are almost like candles…it’s always good to have them around. For guests, for gifts, or to switch up your routine when you run out of your favorite bath oil. Alighiero Campostrini soaps fit the bill for gift-giving quite well with the packaging alone. Bespoke, hand-made and carefully designed papers are used, some dating back to the late 19th century.
There is a full range of hand, bath and even kitchen soaps from Alighiero Campostrini on counter at Bigelow and after some reporting, I can say with confidence that C.O. Bigelow is the only retailer in the U.S. carrying the line. More reason to pay a visit to the New York City landmark, which turns 174 this year!Back to Blog
