It’s been 43 years since the first “dry” shampoo hit the beauty shelves. That’s right, over four decades since French haircare brand Klorane brought the concept of freshening up hair without water to the masses. And oh, how far we’ve come. Who hasn’t used dry shampoo? Who hasn’t had so much product built up in their hair that the thought of even washing it seemed daunting? We love Klorane for its ethical practices (both socially and scientifically) and for making us feel a bit of French chic each time we use their clean and great-smelling products.
This fall, the insanely useful and popular Dry Shampoo diversified, for lack of a better word. The cult product (according to the brand, a Klorane Dry Shampoo is purchased every ten seconds somewhere in the world!!) went natural–a new, “Natural Tint” for the world’s brunette’s. And we all know that with winter coming, many of us will suffer from “hat head” so this is all us dark-haired and brunette girls will need to keep the volume going strong from one holiday party to the next.
Why we love it:
After testing Natural Tint for just over a month, our hair kept the blowouts going a few days longer and never felt weighed down. Oat milk extract in the product prevented any dry scalp (good thing, given the transitional weather) and during one week we found it perfect for quick daily touch-ups. Volume was very noticeable, and no reside was ever left behind. Kudos to Klorane for their continuous efforts of merging the best of science with the best of nature–Natural Tint is officially our dry shampoo of choice!Back to Blog
