Today brings a new Category, Last Night in New York. With dozens of events, parties and more peppering the agenda I’ve decided to share the news from select events around town. Town meaning New York City, of course!

Last night in New York City, French house Longchamp hosted a great event sponsored by Orlane : the 2nd Annual Afghan Hands Fundraiser, which was held in memory of Nazaneen Toloui, a former VP of Orlane and board member of Afghan Hands. With a DJ spinning all night long, over 250 guests and a fun raffle which included a stay at L’Ermitage in Beverly Hills, over $55,000 was raised for Afghan Hands, which aids and teaches Afghan widows life essential skills such as literacy and independence. Women are taught how to create scarves, shawls and more, earning the independence they need to survive or raise a family. Check out the scene from last night!
