When I saw the ingredients in the newest release from skincare veteran Ole Henriksen, I knew I had to try it. Grapeseed oil, shea butter and vitamin A, too. All tried, tested and highly effective components that I’ve grown to appreciate from my staples: Colbert MD and Embryolisse’s Filaderme Emulsion.
Skincare pioneer Ole Henriksen has amped up his Skin Insulator. A new re-formulated, lighter daily moisturizer that packs bioflavinoids (to help repair cells) and Copper PCA is on my beauty shelf and will join the rotation this winter. It’s still rich, but light (make sense?) and perfect on top of your daily serum, which in my case remains Colbert MD’s Stimulate The Serum. Henriksen’s Skin Insulator is a perfect solution as the weather turns–it’s protective and absorbs well. With SPF 15, it’s practically a must with winter approaching as the chilly, windy air begins to settle over New York City.
Ole Henriksen is online, and also available at his famed Los Angeles outpost.
