one balm, three ways

Spring has arrived. And with it comes the process of switching one’s regimen and finding what works. This season, we’ve revisited a classic, effective beauty staple from British brand Neal’s Yard Remedies. The “Beauty Balm” as it’s known, is a pretty scented product that should be kept close by year round. Here’s why:

At under two ounces, the Wild Rose Beauty Balm is packed with stuff skin loves–shea butter, rosehip, borage, hemp seed and palmarosa oils.  Can’t go wrong with any of these; and the soft muslin cleansing cloth included with each balm is made from organic cotton, allowing it to dry cleanly and naturally.

For those days when you don’t recognize your skin (and there can be many), work with the Beauty Balm as an exfoliant–just massage in and wipe. For those with time to spare, 30 minutes is all it takes to re-balance the skin. Apply, cover the skin with a warmed musli cloth and relax. The ensuing glow is impressive; skin is de-stressed and soothed. On dry skin, a tiny bit goes a long way as a hydrator (great for flying and the winter months).
