Singapore is a unique South East Asian nation in so many ways. Incredibly clean, reserved yet exciting, and in some respects conservative. Today, sustainability has been added to the list. During a recent business trip, I found myself at the open museum at the Marina Bay area, which is still partially under development. The city-state has produced some interesting architecture, green buildings and great public spaces.
This is a photo of what is a new community rising along the river of the Marina Bay area. Aside from the super-swanky Mandarin Oriental Hotel nearby, there are residences, commercial office space, a casino and some amazing views. The Marina display lights up when touched to enhance and describe various parts of the “city”.Back to Blog
